42% of households are unaware of how much energy their devices consume, making savings difficult. Without clear consumption data,
energy-saving remains an abstract goal rather than a practical habit.
How can we design a solution that helps users cut energy use easily and efficiently? Using Lean Design, we focused on rapid insights, user research, and agile prototyping.

Wattguard provides a real-time consumption overview and a diagnostic tool that identifies inefficient devices and offers optimization tips. By integrating smart plugs and MQTT data transmission, the app visualizes real-time energy consumption. Live-updating charts help users make informed, energy-efficient choices.
